Social networking sites are there for douchebags to pimp and sell their products not to get to know other people. People LOVE being spammed by a faceless robot who is only out to promote their business.

Social networking sites are about getting to know other people. They should never be used for spamming or pitching a product or business opportunity. NEVER!
Take the time to make your profile about you and who you are as a leader. When you do that, people will flock to find out more about your business naturally. That includes adding a profile picture.
Your profile picture says a lot about you so be sure to choose one that will stand out from the crowd, but is also warm. You want to make a good first impression… your picture will do a lot of that for you- so choose wisely!
Be real, be genuine and most of all be yourself.

Hey Harrison- with sites like Facebook, Myspace, Twitter and Youtube you don’t need to have your own network to be successful- you can create one in no time at all. And the best part is – it’s FREE!
