Hey Zara- then video email really should be the next step for you. I find there is a real disconnect for people that use video marketing to generate prospects and then when that prospect gets in your email list, you start sending boring text based messages. The prospect is used to seeing and hearing you and then all of a sudden- it's time to read your info. Doesn't have the same punch as the video. Thanks for reading! Erica

Hey Michael. Let me know what you think of the tool now that you have opted in and expect a personal video message today from me as well. That way you can have a first hand look at the way it works.

And you have some valid points here. The email clients that do block images show a reminder so that a person can see the image, if they can't, another message is displayed where when they click the link it opens in a secure browser window.

And the image usually piques the interest of the recipient. They want to see the video and check out how it works. Because it's unique it calls their attention to your message a lot faster than if you sent a text based message.

The key is giving away something that people want to watch and to keep it short and to the point. If you send video messages that drag on and on, the recipient will think twice about opening the next one. But if you keep them snappy and moving, they know they are about to get some great content in a short period of time in an entertaining way.

My click through rates are really good. Like I said, the video pulls them in. I just started using it for my autoresponders so I don't have much in the way of tracking to show you there, but with my regular list, I got some really good feedback and follow through with the video messages.

I was able to send training to my membership site peeps, right in the email instead of having them click links to get to other sites. Really easy for everyone. And if they need to watch it again, it's easy to find- it's right in their inbox.

I hope that helps answer some of your questions. I'll send that video email over to you today! Cheers! Erica

It looks like a great tool Erica. I opted in to you site to see exactly how it works.

Here a couple concerns that I see with it and maybe you can let me know whether or not you have seen that problem.

1) Email clients block images by default, and because of the virus issues many people are hesitant to allow images sometimes, so they don't see the image in the email.

2) They still need to click on the video to go to the website that will display the video. In my experience they would need some sort of copy to convince them to click on the image. Is the image enough?

Out of curiosity what are your click throughs on the emails?

I think this is a great idea! Just have those questions about it.

Thanks for the great post.
